BUC Library Services

The following shall be eligible to access library services:

  • All registered students
  • Members of Academic and Administrative Staff
  • Council Members
  • Members of Convocation
  • Any other Person as approved by the relevant BUC authority

Library Services

  • Circulation services: Lending and returning information materials
  • Reference and referral services
  • Bibliographic services
  • Electronic services: The library subscribes to e-books and e-journals.
  • Photocopying services
  • User registration and clearance

Library Hours of Operation

During the Semester:

  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 A.M. - 10:00 P.M.
  • Saturday: 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
  • Sunday: 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.

During Vacation:

  • Weekdays: 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
  • Saturdays & Sundays: Closed
  • The library will remain closed during public holidays.
  • The library will be closed in the event of riots, fire, floods, or strikes.
  • The Head of Library shall give two (2) days' notice when the Library needs to be closed.

Borrowing of Library Materials

Library users are required to return library information resources during operation hours.

The following materials shall not be borrowed except under special circumstances or as the relevant authority may determine:

  • Reference books
  • Periodicals
  • Archival Materials
  • Audio-visual materials
